My card was easy to make. I played with Confetti Toss stamp set and Birthday Cheer dies by Papertrey Ink. My card was influenced by everybody's favourite Laura Bassen. Have you noticed how effectively she uses white die cut words in combination with black strips embossed in white powder?

STAMPlorations | CAS Card Challenge #10 | Reminder

Today I am sharing a project as a reminder for October CAS Card Challenge at STAMPlorations.

Our challenge this month is Anything CAS Goes with Optional Colour Twist - BLACK:
Наше задание в октябре - Свободная тема в стиле КАС с применением по возможности ЧЁРНОГО.

I stamped the pumpkin from Thankful for Autumn stamp set by STAMPlorations down to Mixed Media paper and heat embossed it in gold. I coloured the image using Gansai Tambi watercolours. The sentiment from the same set is stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz ink. To finish off the card I added a mix of Pretty Pink Posh gold metallic sequins.

Я сделала оттиск тыквы из набора штампов Thankful for Autumn от компании STAMPlorations и запекла его с золотой пудрой. Оттиск разукрашен акварелью Gansai Tambi, а надпись из того же набора выполнена чернилами Delicata Golden Glitz. И в завершение я добавила несколько пайеток от Pretty Pink Posh.

October Inspiration | IndigoBlu

Today I am sharing my a new DT project for IndigoBlu featuring Tiny Backgrounds stamp set. This set includes two patterned blocks that help to create amazing backgrounds even for Clean and Simple cards.

I stamped the background image tree times. First in Mustard Seed Distress ink, then I inked the lower 2/3 of the stamp with Spiced Marmalade ink and dubbed edges with a blending tool to create a soft ombre effect and stamped it down. For the third time I used Fired Brick Distress ink for the lower 1/3 of the stamp using the same ink application technique.

Оттиск фонового штампа я сделала три раза, конечно, с помощью MISTI. В первый раз я покрыла весть штамп Distress чернилами Mustard Seed и сделала оттиск. Во второй раз нанесла на нижние 2/3 штампа Spiced Marmalade и слегка стерла границы чернил аппликатором и снова сделала оттиск. В последний раз я использовала такую же технику нанесения чернил оттенка Fired Brick на нижнюю треть штампа.

What makes this card shine so delicately? This is a new product by IndigoBlu - Luscious, rich pigmented powder with added shimmer and a natural binder. This powder is translucent colour and can be layered over the top of inks.

Почему открытка так блестит? Я использовала новый продукт от IndigoBlu - Luscious. Это богато пигментированная пудра с добавлением жемчужного блеска, содержащая также смолы для закрепления. Пудра прозрачная, и её можно использовать поверх оттисков, сделанных чернилами.

While my impression was not quite dry, I dusted it with Luscious powder using a clean dry painting brush. Then I brushed off excess of powder and finished with wiping the impression with Swiffer tissue. To complete the card I stamped birds from Clumber Park set and a sentiment from Plume set in black ink.

Пока оттиск не высох до конца, я его припудрила сухой чистой кисть для рисования. Пудру нужно слегка втирать в чернила круговыми движениями. Потом смахнула кистью избыток пудры и окончательно очистила панель бытовой салфеткой для уборки пыли типа Swiffer. Для завершения композиции я сделала оттиск птиц из набора Clumber Park и надписи из Plume.

Today I am sharing a card inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #194:

My project features Magnolia stamp set designed by my friends Tasha for Cherrylana Designs. I simply stamped the sentiment and magnolia flower with leaves in Archival in and coloured the impressions with Distress inks. This set is so delicate, that I did not want to add any embelishments to my card.

Для этой работы я использовала набор Магнолии, созданный моей подругой Ташей для Cherrylana Designs . Процесс самый простой - сделала оттиски штампов из чернилами Archival и раскрасила чернилами Distress. Эти цветы настолько нежны, что мне не захотелось добавлять никакие украшения к работе.
